As long as you don’t try Abe’s of Maine. Based upon what others have written, I won’t give it a chance. As for 42nd Street Photo they are not as reputable as they were. Besides, their address does change to suit the moment.

there was another company back in the day called 47th St. photo which had a good reputation. 42nd St. Photo picked their name hoping to cash in on that reputation.

I recently sold my older SLR and lens collections to 42 St. They quoted me a fair price and after receiving the gear offered me $25 more than quoted.
I purchased my new gear from 42 and St.

You are most likely buying Grey market items and Nikon will not repair them and private shops can't get parts
