I spotted this bird along the shoreline at Lake Pueblo, CO.
Maybe a Common Loon in winter plumage.

Thank you Joe. I was thinking Grebe or Loon. I looked in a bird book and Grebe
wasn't it, but the next listing was Loon's. There I found that the Common Loon
wintered within the front range of CO. Then I came back to UHH and did a search
for 'Common Loon' and got about 20 hits. There were some really great shots of
these Loon's, that confirmed 'Common Loon'.
