A few Emus...the one in the portrait was walking along side of me, I had my 300mm lens on and had to push him away a bit so I could get a shot...

Cool shots of those emus!! Are they wild and in your neighborhood or at a park or zoo? They must be fairly tame to come so close to you.

Thanks Dodie, these were in a wildlife park. I was a member of Wildlife Photographers Australia for a few years and we worked out of this park. The Cleland Wildlife Park up in the Adelaide Hills.
They do run wild though, a short drive into the country and you can see them, just need to be careful they don't try to run across the road in front of you. This is a big problem with Kangaroos.
Beautiful shots Ron. An Emu is used in a car insurance TV commercial here in the states.
