That kind of thing seems to happen a lot. Just recently we had a thread about a business to batteries in a western state ,that was supposedly owned by Chinese. Same thing total exaggeration.

How is Rand Paul not totally correct? He said that TikTok is not owned by the Chinese government and he appears go be correct. Even the 2 links you provided doesn’t say that the Chinese government owns TikTok that I could see.
