Few days ago Rick/GreyMule posted a photo of "Desert Bugs -Bleu Hours/Sunrise Bisti Wilderness". A very nice and surreal image that many of you appreciated and complimented. I dd the same and since the Bisti-De-Na-Zin is really a unique area with strange rock formations, I attached to my comment a photo of the wings I took more than one year ago. I had no intention to minimize Rick's photo, I wanted just to show another wonderful part of this large remote area offering unique photographic opportunities. My photo has been misunderstood as a threads by Rick/Grey Mule to his photos and I got back this message, Quote: Nice image of hoodoos. However, please don't post photo on any post and threads of mine. Very rude.Thank you for your understanding:Unquote.
Again, it was not my intention to be a thread to Rick/GreyMule post. I apologize if my action has been understood this way. But for sure I not the rude guy and his reply is more than rude to me and very arrogant.
Just to show the beauty of the Bisti-De-Na-Zin " wings area" many of you may not know, I attach few photos taken there.

some folk are thick skinned.....some people are thin skinned...... don't fret about ONE person...relax....i love these pics!
I lived in Farmington, NM for 2.5 years and regret not exploring the Bisti while there. I will say that the photos folks are posting without the "painterly" editing are beautiful and they do bring back fond memories of living in Indian Country.
Whatever, whoever prompted this post in the main channel is not an issue. What is, is the posting of images in the main channel.

Also, what you seem to have done was a thread hijack. Anyone to whom this had happened would react the same hostile way. Instead of 'clarifying a misunderstanding' just offer a direct apology to the thread op instead of polluting the forum with your whining.
Beautiful set. People have strong views about posting on their thread and it is always a good idea to ask.

Nice photos of those cool formations.
It's a good idea to always ask the person who started the original post if you can post a photo to their thread. Some people feel that their post is being "hijacked" and that their photo/info isn't important or special as the added one. We all make mistakes so, hopefully, Grey Mule will understand you were only trying to add to his post, not detract from it.
Good luck!

These are beautiful photos, and exactly where they belong! In their own post! I'm not as sensitive about the "integrity" of my posts as some people are, but yes, I almost sent you a warning private message, but figured that you would hear about it. Please don't hesitate to send more posts. Especially if they are of this quality!

Very beautiful-nice shots!!!!
I replied directly. I sent congratulations for the photo and mentioned that the area offers the view of surreal rocks like the wings. I added my photo of the wings not to compete but to shows it. I did not realized that this should not been done. I replied to his answer and clarified and even if not directly I gave my apology. But I could not stand the offense to be called rude and this generated my final message. I was not whining because I am not a kid. I have been working in photography since I was 8 and after 10 additional decades I am still active and respectful for people.

Great post by a condescending Monitor. Tasteless and totally inappropriate. I guess sometimes you just can't help yourself
