I have a good friend that has several Nikon Film cameras and lens. Is there any company that buys them?

All the major used gear dealers will still buy quality film gear. Not much $$ but still alive.
The lenses held their value better cuz theyll work on the very newest cameras. Possibly youre a customer for some of his old lenses.

To name a few of the buyers of used cameras MPB.com. Keh Camera, B&H photo, Hunts Camera. All of these will buy through an online process. Google each one for their buying process.

KEH, Adorama, B&H to name a few. If he wants the best buck for his Nikon equipment try selling it here for free.
I would also strongly suggest using only paypal for selling it here or any Ebay.
