In the late July of 1981, I was an AV producer working for Delmar, at that time, a yearbook company. I put on several multi-image slide shows at a yearbook workshop for over 350 editors and their advisors at Rollins College, in Winter Park, FL. The last morning of the workshop, I awoke after two hours' sleep, having spent the night programming a nine-projector closing show.

When I stumbled into the college cafeteria, there was a HUGE projection TV with the royal wedding on it. About 30 students and their advisors were staring at it in rapt attention. I thought I was still sleeping, in the middle of some surreal dream inspired by National Lampoon. Then I remembered, "Oh. Yeah. Royals. It's a thing with some people. [Cue the eye roll.]"

Our sales rep came over and asked me, "Did you finish the show?" I replied, "Yeah, and I hope it can compete with that!"

She laughed and said, "I know, right?"

I also have little interest in the Royal Family but it's hard to comprehend that inhabitants of this planet do not know who they are.

Why do you find that so difficult to understand? They must be of some importance to you if you are unable to comprehend a total lack of interest in anything about them.

After all this you now suggest that your original comment was not serious, Sorry I didn't get the sarcasm because it sure looked serious. Be well.

In the future I’ll enclose a note about sarcasm so you don’t get confused.

I do understand a total lack of interest in them but if you read more carefully you should clearly see what I don't understand. Can we be done now? Verbal combat can be entertaining but even I'm getting bored now.

The picture was taken by her husband and she edited it. It was given to the press. She has every right to edit any of the family photos that she wants to. She isn't selling the pictures to the press do they have nothing to say about it. They can either gratefully accept it for their publication or they can be unappreciative and reject it, which appears to be what they did. I feel their rules have become ridiculous as demonstrated by their response to this picture.

The online sleuths have now identified nearly a dozen inconsistencies to a 'family snapshot'. And yet, the palace remains mum, refusing to show the original / source image(s).

If she'd used Lightroom, the edits would have been easy, fast, and seamless. She must not be able to afford a subscription?

If it really was an amateur effort at editing, she should spend some time on utube training during her recovery downtime. Maybe even join UHH?

A planet (country) where they don't give a damn about British royalty, because they are not British subjects, perhaps?

As an American, I find it hard to understand why my fellow Americans have such an obsession with royalty.

We don't have a system of royals. We don't have a monarchy. We don't have a realm. It just doesn't matter here. Yet it's such a slow news day at certain journalistic outlets that they have to obsess over some other country's idle rich people.

I know people who sit around reading *Us* and *People* and various tabloids full of idol worship. They know every name of every royal there is. So? What's the point? Oh, it's just interesting?

I'm glad I never developed that interest.
