I believe we were swapping remarks regarding the SOTU Thursday night. Despite my adverse opinion of Biden, I was surprised at his positive performance and there are Pubs that went on record with even more favorable evaluations. Any whom flatly blow everything off and labeling all as lies is simply making themselves appear to be blatantly partisan with no regard for anything being factual. It serves no purpose other than self gratification.

Firstly, it is sad that anyone would heckle the President of the United States and dress like a Maga billboard at such an event but disrespect was not limited to one party as even Sotomayor, Kagen and Jackson winced at Biden’s comments directed at SCOTUS. As to on the fly without a script, after seeing Biden in many of his off script, more impromptu responses at events over the past year I was impressed how rehearsed and jacked up his handlers had him as he seemed to be firing on all cylinders for 68 minutes ‘but on the fly’ (as he just happen to have a Laken Riley button on the podium as his prep team knew full well the subject would be broached by the likes of an MTG and then piss off the pro immigration contingent with his “illegal” characterization), as Joe would say. “Come on Man!”

I still want to know what the Man thinks the State of Our Nation is. What amazes me is that Joe went over an hour with only a few minor Gaffs. He did put on a good show but a few of his claims or assertions were fractured history as expected in any political rally. I wonder why the President does not present himself this well on a daily basis, I often think that possibly dopamine is the answer.

The SOTU was the only political rally I have watched and that is because I thought it to be a State of The Union Address and note a 4 more years rally, shame on the Party.

It's unfortunate that what you and many right-wing cult members here on UHH seem to be embarrassed because President Biden called out the GOP for caving in to trumps selfish demand to allow trump to "campaign" on a broken border, instead of passing the bipartisan border bill which the Senate had written. Gee, couldn't trump come up with anything esle to campaign on, anything else to deflect from trump's numerous legal problems?

The country now knows the facts, instead of the lies pushed by trump and his sycophants in the House and Senate.

The GOP controlled House has been desperately trying to find anything to impeach President Biden on for over 5 months months so far, only to have their whistleblowers and witnesses blow up in their faces. Their impeachment inquiry is nothing more than a trump demanded witch hunt to try to smear President Biden. Their time would have been better spent actually legislating for "we the people" instead of bowing down to trump!

It is unfortunate that you gained no info from SOTO. I always expect it to be a session where the party blows their own horn and it is up to the listener to fact check some of the points. I also would expect, particularly in this day and age,
much bs political rhetoric because that's what our country has turned in to.

For those that call a whole presentation lies, they should have not wasted their time watching. Their bias blinds them and they can't be bothered to search for factual informstion.
