What is your budget? There are plenty of βsmallβ cameras that run the gamut of price from very reasonable to very expensive. Is a long zoom range important to you? Then consider the Sony HX99 or the Panasonic Lumix ZS-70 or 80. Both are excellent cameras. If price is not an issue, then consider something like the Sony RX100 VI or VII. They zoom to 200mm eq. and have a 1β type sensor. The Canon G7X/G7XII is less expensive and is pocket sized, but not much of a zoom range. If you want to go really compact and still have a good camera, there is the Canon G9X. Or your cellphone. At the end of the day, we would need a bit more information in order to adequately answer your question.

Just remember, B&H closes at sunset on Fridays and is closed all day Saturdays. They are open on Sundays, however.
