I guess I don't have anything all that unusual in my field bag, except perhaps a note pad and a pen:

The contents of my field bag - March 2024 - Apple iPhone 11 Pro
The contents of my field bag - March 2024 - Apple ...

Whatever you do, don't confuse the air tags for the breath mints!

Makes sense... both devices work by aiming and shooting

Looks like your topic has become one for Guns and Ammo magazine. Or if someone posts that they bring along a 155mm Howitzer we can move it to Field Artillery Magazine.

Note that all I have are long guns. I guess I could fit my M1 Carbine into one of my tripod cases

I hope THE FBI is not viewing these posts as we'll all be under surveillance

Would the government have sold us all of those surplus M1 Carbines if they didn't want us to have them? Just asking.

Considering what goes on in today's world, I fear the FBI might not see the intended humor of my sarcasm and upon reflection, it was probably inappropriate.

I was trying to be funny, but it's true that you have to watch what you say these days. It can be misinterpreted.

The great thing about this thread is that it didn't devolve into a heated discussion about gun rights, which would have certainly sent it to the attic. Everyone was polite to one another. I think that counts for something, and I did learn a lot about what people keep in their camera bags aside from a gun. Interesting thread.

Oh, no worries I did get the humor in your comment. I was ok with the topic until it evolved into "deadly" accessories which I have no desire to own.
