Because you are the one who doesn't want to see them not me.

Perhaps you can explain the meaning of your reply then because I don't understand it?
I merely gave you some straightforward advice on how to not see a posters work that you don't like, and you tell me to 'take my own advice?' How is your reply not rude or abusive?

Man, you need to stop looking at other and look at yourself. My advice is spot on, and so is my original comment. That you do not like either is your prerogative. That you call me 'rude' because I do not answer the way you like or even understand (Now I am getting rude) is your own shortcoming.

Stop looking at nudies and grow a thicker skin, you obviously need it.

The colorization 'offered' is low in quality and so are the contrast less B&W originals. Repetition of the same type of 'work' shows that there is no learning process, no progress and quite frankly worthless.

This is my opinion. I am sticking to it. You do not agree, fine, no skin of my back. That you are one who cannot accept folks disagreeing with you is (once again) your own shortcoming. That you get red in the face does not matter to me: One, I do not see you. Two, I do not care. Three, You will not get any other answer from me, as this a worthless exchange.

Remedies for you: Take a deep breath and move on.

NOW you can call me rude for calling you on.

Perhaps I didn't explain clearly enough for you, in which case I am truly sorry.

I'm not talking about the 'UNWATCH' option at the top of the tread, but referring to the facility detailed below:

Click on the Users name you don't like, to see their profile.
On that screen select the option button "Add To Ignore List."

So now you won't have to see any of that Users posts.

Love and Kindness.

Well, please be aware that the 'ignore' feature has been disabled a long time ago.

Thank you for the update, I wasn't aware of that, perhaps the shadowy moderators ought to reinstate or remove it?

To show what a difference can be made using a better B&W image... Using #53 as a sample...

This took me all but five minutes in PS CC:
- ACR for the B&W changes
- Changed to RGB (16)
- Neural filters
 - Colorize (default settings)
 - Remove JPG artifacts (default settings)

It took more time to type and post this!!!

Now, imagine if the original poster looked at his 'originals' and improved them first (I used ACR as a sledgehammer) before going onto colorization...

#53
#53...

and now you are being naughty, your own profile says 'Do not post pictures or edit in any of the threads I create' and yet here you are demonstrating your own superiority by editing and posting someone else's pictures?

Nitpick all you want.

DEFAULT settings, I do not care about the result offered other than to show that improving the B&W makes a world of difference.

yep and isn't that exactly what Jim has been doing, in his own way, working on his fifty year old negs and improving them in his way, probably without any outside training? You complain but you don't suggest ways in which he could improve his workflow?

You seek to say that he should not post any more, yet he still has his admirers?

You suggest that I should 'stop looking at nudes' and then post a picture of lemons under the title "NSFW or is it"? So do you think that UHH should delete the "Nude Photography, Boudoir Photography, NSFW, Discussions and Pictures" category and replace it with one where we can post pictures of fruit and vegetables masquerading as something else?

And, in your enlighten opinion, what does 'Improve the B&W original first means'?

Isn't that the first step in the 'workflow'?
The rest depends on the software used and how proficient one is in that particular software.

You love to criticize. At least, I show what the difference is between two B&W versions of the same scene.

What have you offered so far?

Rongnongno is simply stating that the images are boring and repetitious, which is his right as a UHH member. And c'mon, there has been a heck of a lot of these pictures, hasn't there. Others (me included) agree. Others, on the other hand, like them. Simple as that. I can't see where he has said Tonne shouldn't post his pictures; he is merely making a simple and honest observation.
