This pot used to be filled with beautiful flowers!

Initially, I had planned a post about this exact subject. Today, as I was finishing up working with my guys, I came up front and found this guy in the flower pot munching away on a nut I had earlier left in the pot. Long ago these pots used to be filled with beautiful flowers, but now with the economy they are empty and I instead leave peanuts there. Over the past few months, I have photographed several squirrels in this pot. Typically, however once they spot me they usually take off. I should note that quite a few squirrels have been known to taunt me as this is directly outside the gym and more than once I have found them in the pot as if to say: "The coast is clear, she's working out and that camera is safely tucked away!" This guy however saw me and instead seemed more than happy to munch away and mug a bit for the camera. I found the last image endearing as he jumped from the pot and gave me one final pose. So, the other post will be saved for another time since this fellow was kind enough to pose for me today.

As always I hope you enjoy!.

Get an even bigger pot, put this one with new flowers in the bigger one, fill the bigger one with water and obtain a couple of Piranha from a Black Market Pet dealer. Put them in the water. Takes care of the destroyer of flowers and you can just scrap your plates and trimmings from cooking in for them to eat when they run out of squrrels.

All great shots Barb, but I especially love the one where he is peeking out at you. I think he likes you a lot, but he's a little shy.
