Looks like a golden v, high comp heads and 283. A lot of 265 were sold and people didn't realize it. Nice car, straight car , black is tough color to hide imperfections.

I can remember when I use to be able to identify cars from a distance on the road. These days I have walk up to it and read the name -plate. Maybe the problem is with me, but I suspect that it is another indication of our drift toward sameness in our products. Your images were excellent as per usual.

There are any number of people that think I'm nuts and for a lot of good reasons but I think the 57 Chevy is the most beautiful car ever made in the US.
