Catskinner obviously knows what he's talking about since he owns one.

Sorry, but what you call a 1940 Chevy pu. is NOT a 40. It' s a 41 to 48, someplace in there. A 1940 Chevy has horizonal grille bars, the 41 to 48 has what is called The Waterfall Grille. I know as I have a 40. catskinner

Catskinner, I stand corrected.

The so-named car show that was part of the Sports Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) program at the Sebring International Raceway has grown in leaps and bounds from only a few years ago. The closely packed vehicles on the show area proved somewhat of a challenge to photograph, let alone compare to the artful backgrounds that Kim always manages to include in his photography of vehicles.

Fantastic photos and cars. I especially like the Ford station wagon.

The Green pu. is correct. By the way mine is Red and Black also. I think the correct year would be between 41 and 47 as the 48 had the headlights molded into the fenders and not on top of the fenders. catskinner

Despite the people in beach chairs, it's nice to see that your photos are full views of the vehicle. I don't enjoy just close up images of car parts as they just leave me wanting to see the rest of the vehicle, Some think they're being Artsy but I don't buy it. The full image of the vehicle should always be included with any such images.
