Another AI experiment. My hand-colored colorized version was previously posted and had some nice aspects and some so-so aspects. Here we have the original B&W image, my hand-colored image and the AI version. I agree with those of you that commented that AI 'ain't quite there yet.'

I prefer the level of transparency of the blouse in the AI rendering.
I prefer yours--AI's conversion is too pink.
I think the final example is my favorite, but the second one certainly calls more attention to the model and her pose.
Not only is your hand coloring exceptional, so is the model!

I did not notice that at first. It is to AI’s credit that it was able to recognize that subtle tonal difference and add the correct coloring in those areas, instead of something other than a flesh tone.
