NYA-EVO Fjord 50C backpack

I have a Mindshift Gear Backlight 26L backpack that I find to be somewhat uncomfortable to use. After a few miles with less than 15 pounds in it, I start to find it tiring to use. It is a camera backpack that seems to be designed for some hiking, not extended use. I have come across the newer manufacturer NYA-EVO that makes a series of backpacks that are comfortable to use and design for photographers. I am looking into either the 36C or 50C models. Does anyone use a backpack from NYA-EVO and what are your impressions?

Hudson Henry is a big fan. He sells them on his site.

Take a look at the Gregory Baltoro 65. A very comfortable pack that can take photo inserts. Too large to carry on though.

Are you the same person that asked an almost identical question over on the Backcountry Gallery forum? If so…I put a detailed answer there. Short answer…they are great. The 36 is carryon legal, the 50 isn’t by dimensions but Hudson and Mya claim it is legal and Hudson says he carries his 60C onboard all the time although it’s technically oversize as well. The 36 will take the medium or large insert…depends on what lens you need to carry, the medium will take up to the length of a Z 400/4.5 but the 600PF or 180-600 size needs the large. XL only fits in the 60.
