Beautiful shots Barbara. If go and sit very still and toss some peanuts on the ground by your feet, they will come and get them, then you can soon have them eating out of your hand. I know this....have seen it happen many times.

We feed the birds here in the winter.. We call them our "welfare birds". Many of the squirrel photos show them eating or begging. Are they "welfare squirrels"?

Well, that's an excellent point! I suspect that would depend upon the state the squirrel lives in these days
My squirrels are definitely working squirrels. They pose and, like any good model, get paid for their services
