Love that Tennessee shot, Judy, and those other two are gorgeous ๐๐๐
Thanks, Joe...you are the BEST!

Two is awesome how you captures the play of light on the waves
Thanks. I put the camera right down on the sand a couple of feet from the water. I think the angle gave me that good light (made the waves look bigger, too).

With my luck, as soon as I stepped back, the camera would have washed away

Really enjoyed your group, af! Glad you are up and running!
Thank you double-time, Judy. I'm working out some minor things but the photos come up quicker.

Beautifully done; and the silhouettes really add quite a lot!

Lovely shots, but that one of the canyon is superlative ๐๐๐๐๐
Thanks so much Joe. Coming from you, that encouragement means a lot.

I still have few that I like from my archives, so I'll add them in now. But please remember to turn around and look east at sunset; what you see may surprise you (see the last three entries in this group).

Wow! Very n ice collection, Af! Little secrets are always helpful!!
Back in 2013 my Dad invited me to join my brother and him to take a bus tour that included witnessing the โgreat buffalo roundupโ in Custer State Park in South Dakota. Of course I jumped at it since he was paying and said "Yes!"
We got up really early for breakfast in our hotel in Northern Nebraska and hit road at 4:00AM for the 2 hour drive to the park. Within a couple miles of the park entrance traffic slowed our progress. Ok it may have been before sunrise!
I didnโt shoot any shots out the front of the bus but I did go to the back of the bus and shot the really long line of folks joining us to witness the roundup.
