Derwent Water, UK.

This is Derwent Water near to Keswick in the English Lake District. The valley at the end of the lake is Borrowdale, apparently one of the wettest parts of the UK.
The water level is high due to the wet winter we have had and are having, the fence on the right usually acts as a leading line but unfortunately is partly submerged.

I see that you have not listed where you are located but I assume it is England unless you are traveling. Do you happen to be Derek Forss?
You do not offer much information about yourself or what you are using.

Very nice pic - but it's the lake that is the wettest part of the UK!

I am not the person you mention. I have updated my profile, hopefully giving you more info.

Thank you Derek. The person I mentioned is Derek Forss who is an Olympus Ambassador based in England. I sent you a private email where if interested you will find plenty of information about him. He is a great photographer and educator and has many interesting and educational videos in Youtube.
He is mostly a landscape photographer and although you use Nikon gear, like I do, there is always something to learn even if using another camera.

Best wishes.

Thank you for that shot.
Been to the Lake District twice 50-60 years ago and loved it. Would be very happy to go back.
