As I get ready to head South again here are a few photos of my favorite Egrets at Fort Desota . One is regular Reddish Egret the other is a white Morph . They were hunted almost to extinction but are slowly making a comeback. So active and fun to photograph

Beautiful images. I have not seen a white morph down here though I have photographed the normal colored birds.

A phenomenal duo - and that magnificent first shot is amazing with that capture of the subject right in the middle of a little, muddy ballet 💎💎💎💎💎

I love these 2 guys .I have followed them many times and have some wonderful shots of them , some times they interact with each other and not in a happy way they hunt the same pool area on rising tides shallow edges . Good shots . I live in Crystal river but grew up in St. Petersburg . we travel down there once a month to the same area . A lot of raptors nesting there now Great horned owls out there ,everyone getting great Eagle and Snail Kites @ La Chua sink at the Covered area on the boardwalk . Doing good also @ Joe Overstreet Road near Kenansville Crested Cara Cara , and snail Kites Eagles have young in nest now . Good Hunting .
