Yes, my pics had 8 sets of nipples. My previous post was strictly humor or was it?

I saw on Fox News that even Google's AI search engine is producing images of famous men like Washington and Lincoln as black. They got called out on it and the AI search engine has been shut down until the issue can be resolved. It appears that the developer of Google's AI software is white but is EXTREMELY biased against the white race so he fed his AI software with overly biased data against the white race. AI is only as good as the data it has been programmed with. There is an old saying in the computer industry that goes, "Garbage In , Garbage Out". Biased programmers feeding biased data into AI programs will guarantee biased results. YES, this is dangerous! This holds true even for hard-back publishing. These people are trying to rewrite American history. Just check out what is being taught in schools these days.

Myra Cheng and her colleagues at Stanford University, California, analysed the content of more than 655,000 academic publications released between May 2007 and September 2023, along with the headlines of approximately 14,000 news articles citing some of those papers. I’ve read where with AI we are all at the mercy of the programmers and their ideas of reality, no matter what your belief.

Not really. I worked in that field before I retired. Very complex algorithms are written which can "learn" from the data utilized. The product that we built had jobs with billions of rows of data from multiple sources which were joined. We were probably more accurate than most just because of the shear amount of data that was input on a daily basis.

For several years I've claimed my favorite Abe Lincoln quote is, "Don't believe everything you read on the internet." Now I'll be able to get a video of him actually saying that!! Time was a photo was accepted as proof of many things. Now, we can't only accept photos as proof of anything but video as well. What's next? Andesbill is right, but common sense is becoming less common as well. The clock keeps ticking.....

What treaty would guarantee that all nations would stop?
Do you see our military stopping for any reason?
Or Zuckerberg, Bezos, Gates or Musk or Apple, etc?

Just grease your rear, close your eyes and bend over, because something’s coming and we don’t know what it is, but it will hurt.

It's already here with Fox News and they don't need AI!!!

Saw a post claiming to be a picture of a 60's super bike with an engine that looked like multiple v engines both next to each other and behind each other. I was reading every and all motorcycle magazines during that time period and a VW engined Munich Mammoth was the biggest thing out there.

I did some forensic photography way back in the film era, and even then photographs were not accepted as proof in court cases on face value. The photographer had to testify, or the attorneys agreed to stipulate, that the photos were accurate representations of what they were supposed to show. People have been faking photographs way before digital was even imagined.

Did you ever hear of a motorcycle called the Bloody Mary? It was a drag bike built by a guy named E.J. Potter in the '60s with a Chevy V8 mounted sideways, with a direct chain drive. The back end was put up on a stand, the engine revved up, and the bike kicked off the stand, going in the 170s in the 8 second range. I saw it run at my local drag strip.

Did not see that one, I've seen some V8s but they were put inline not sideways. What kind of drive chain for that much power. Would a cam chain be heavier than a motorcycle drive chain?

I'm not sure what type of chain, but I remember he did the direct chain drive because he couldn't figure out how to make a clutch for it. Here is a video that shows it in action.

John Swanda- The closest I've ever been to forensics is working with our coroner when I served on our county SAR team. I was their official videographer. I've shot my share of film over the years too. But my reference was in general everyday situations. I sure understand what you're saying but I've never had to testify that any of my photography was accurate.
