Such a good point. I'm a copywriter who produces copy for a clothing retailer's website. They continually send me information that talks about a pant or a jean. They say that the client is always right. Rather than get into an argument about what marketers put on the web these days (apparently they know what's what!) I quietly change the composition so it's acceptable to two-legged shoppers.
