I don't want to be a prude as I worked outdoors with the six pack crowd all my life but verbage such as that has become mainstream as much as I hate to admit it... just finished up rewatching all episodes of the Sopranos... talk about language !!!!! Do Parents even care anymore... Does ANYONE really care about ANYTHING positive anymore ? I am 80 and on the EXIT plan and glad of it ! World has gone to hell in a handbag.

Look at the "x" navigation on the top right of the cartoon. It's typical of x-ing out of an ad.

Everytime I've ever tried that "x" on ads in the past, Google takes up half or three quarters of the page with a "dialog box" wanting to have boxes checked about why the "x" was clicked.

Then Google won't provide a way that I can find to remove that box from the page, after they put up a "we won't show you this add again" message......Riiighht!......the same ad will be shown again, and again, and again, and again.....

I don't go through the hassel of "x-ing out" anymore. Seems to do no good.

I think they make the active area of the X VERY SMALL, "close" gets you the ad. You have to be precise I found.
And then if you do, the ad gets replaced with another ad.....

I understand what you're saying.

However, if I clicked only the "x", I wouldn't get the ad, just Google's page hogging dialog box without a way to remove that box (not that I could find, anyway).

I'll check back after while....doctoring a sick dog.....hoping she will pull through.

I copied this off of a page I looked at yesterday. This is the first opportunity I have had to question Why The Hexx it was there?? Read the right hand cartoon. Wonderful language for our young readers.

It has always been at issue with people, mostly it shows a certain ignorance. The 'naughty' word has precedence as a legal term, Fornication Under Carnal Knowledge. And it is not a 'slang', it's slang version is Jazz, Jazz is the term used as a subsetute for the same word used by Caucasians, but not allowed in use by what our society now deems as an African American person of origin. It is all racism and that is why we have the problem and will continue to have a problem we call racism. It is all ignorance on the part of all parties.

Who really cares in this year of 2024? It is all samsara.

Admin replied to my pm asking about ad content:

not to use that kind of language in the presence of adults..

Only adults are permitted to use those wordsl
