Which image conveys love more clearly the colorful one or the black and white one and why?

I like the second. I think it displays more affection and bonding than the first.

I like the crop in the monochrome image but not the white background. I would be interested in seeing the top image cropped like the lower one but with the original background (also in monochrome)

...depends on what you mean by "love". I think the first one shows a "love of each other and the world in general." The second, I think, given the B&W treatment, shows "love" in a 'closeness' way It's sorta like seeing a male lion allowing his offspring to climb all over him and loving them enough to put up with it.
