My Mom was born in 1906. How I loved watching her do the Charleston in our living room!

For sure. My parents were not around for very long. Yes, we did have a nice selection of photo albums in the attic.

Thanks,
Mark

I assume you mean YOUR attic, not the HOG attic😂

What a time! Terrific photos and memories for you. Don’t you feel sorry for the many people across the world who don’t have such reminders?

Her smile is contagious! It made me smile the instant I saw it. I am a firm believer that nothing looks better on people than a happy smile. She definitely passed that on to you!

I guess so. Her baby son died at 2 1/2, her husband died at 41 and she died of cancer at 49. She ran the food store my father left for 1.5 years, typed address labels for $.10 a page (about 30 labels per page) and went to work for a Credit Bureau for 6 years. Living on Social Security and a meager salary, my younger sister, Mom and I just about managed. A very brave and courageous woman! I pay tribute to her every year.
