I used the Google translate app on my iPhone, set to auto-detect language with the phone's camera. The top line says "Chinese drama Dr. Zheng", and the bottom line reads "Produced by Chenguan Lantian Craft Factory, Shen County, China, Zhejiang"

It’s usually shortened to “Made in China “. I suspect the less than mystical translation was a bit of a letdown.

Many thanks Odujim, The story given to me at the Buddha Temple was that each mask was a replica of the actors and singers masks worn during an Opera Drama. Note that each mask has a name.
