I was walking to my car after the late show at the movie theater last week, and I heard footsteps behind me. I sped up, and the steps sped up. Before long, the footsteps were right behind me. I stopped and turned around. Three feet away was a big guy wearing a hoodie. He drew a gun and shoved it in my face. Not wanting to appear afraid, I grabbed the paper he had drawn the gun on and ripped it up. I think I heard him whimper.

Alternate ending -

He drew a gun on me, and I knew that was bad news. That Sharpie ink would never come out of my new jacket.

Oh Jerry! You scared me. I was very afraid for you. I went to my local Staples but could not find one. So I went to my local Lowe’s. I found plenty of them and will mail an electric stapler with plenty of staples. That way all you need to do is find a electric outlet. And finish the punk off!

That sounds like a plan.

If he had come up behind me, I would have drawn my 9mm and confronted him.
An old armed fart aviator.

Second alternate: He started to draw a gun, but I got mine out even faster. End of story for hoodie.

And you'd be exonerated because he drew first - just like in the old westerns.

Actually, I'd be exonerated because he was too close for me to escape, and I was in fear for my life. Always remember that.
