Try bending over to pick up after the dog.........

I can certainly agree with the mind part!

You know you are old when you bend over to pick something up and think while I'm down here is there anything else I should do before I straighten up?

As posted last week, I had to reinstall Win 11 and recover all my settings, data and apps. At this point I believe full recovery and restore are 95% complete. My mouse has been a bit erratic, so I visited Win 11 mouse settings. I played with a few settings for a couple of days, but the behavior was still slow and erratic. About 15 minutes ago I decided to DUH - CHANGE THE BATTERIES! I had erroneously assumed the reinstallation of the OS was the cause of the weird behavior. Voila!! Think simple first!

I have an excuse I can use - I just had my 87th birthday last week. Thinking simply is not automatic!!
My mouse and I wish you a wonderful day!

Mark, that is why I use a wired mouse, never a problem.

Dear Mark,

First I'd like to wish you a Happy Belated Birthday & have many more, please ! Also being a fan of jazz I'd also like to say "thank you" for all the great music you have sent us over the years ! Do you still play?
Growing old has it's ups & downs but as I always say,"it is what it is" God bless you & yours.

I haven't had a problem with my wireless mouse in oh, maybe 8-10 years?
(They warn when the battery is going dead. Only seconds to replace.)

That is so kind of you!! Thank you!! About 8 years ago, after a long layoff, I gave my Bach trumpet to my grandson. He loved it and still has it. He does not play anymore. He's now a frosh at Fairfield Univ. He likes County. I love him anyway!

Thanks for the note!

They made me feel young(er), too. I turn 77 in April.

I've had problems with wireless mice to many times over the years to use them, even with new batteries, so I will stick to wired mice and keyboards, Longshadow.

Same here. Sitting I am young; walking, not so much; running, what's that?

I use Logitech wireless mice on my desktop and laptops and a Logitech wireless keyboard for the desktop.

I find that the wired ones always seem to take up macrame as a hobby.
