Congrats on the birthday. Don't be hard on yourself. It is easy to think the computer up date caused all the problems

Happy Birthday, Mark! My 87th will be this October …

We share similar interests, although my Bach 37 finally retired when I hit 80. My granddaughter is carrying on the tradition, with a degree in jazz trumpet from Miami University.

That's more than interesting and wonderful! I'd love to hear her play. I gave my Bach to my grandson. He played until he entered HS, then he developed other interests including Country Music. We still speak!

An early Happy Birthday to you!!

I got one. But they count it as an extra club in the bag when golfing so I’ve learned how to bend over to place my tee without tweaking the back. 😵‍💫

Here's a question from a non-golfer.
Can you devise a little attachment to fasten to the end of a club grip that will hold the tee, so you can remain standing upright and set the tee by holding the club head?

Your playing partner(s)would gladly put the tee in the ground for you. No device needed! If they would not, you are playing with the wrong people!!

As posted last week, I had to reinstall Win 11 and recover all my settings, data and apps. At this point I believe full recovery and restore are 95% complete. My mouse has been a bit erratic, so I visited Win 11 mouse settings. I played with a few settings for a couple of days, but the behavior was still slow and erratic. About 15 minutes ago I decided to DUH - CHANGE THE BATTERIES! I had erroneously assumed the reinstallation of the OS was the cause of the weird behavior. Voila!! Think simple first!

I have an excuse I can use - I just had my 87th birthday last week. Thinking simply is not automatic!!
My mouse and I wish you a wonderful day!

I hate battery powered Mice and Keyboards. I've used them in the past but they are erratic and crap out at the least opportune time. Mine are USB wired to my DELL towers.

I've had both, but my latest battery powered Logitech mouse is wonderful. The only issue I have is when the battery is weak and needs replacing. Not a big deal!!

I never had a problem with my Microsoft Mobile Mouse 3500 on my laptop.
It blinks red a day or so before the battery quits.
Our new desktop has a wireless keyboard. No problems with that either.

My wireless Logitech keyboard(K360) is about 11 years old. Other than changing batteries, I've never had an issue.

Thank you! I don't think I caused the issue. Stuff happens. I've been using computers since 71' and had my own since 85'.

Thanks for the reply and birthday wishes!
