Cool idea of a simple concept. Nicely done.
As an anecdote to the story, when we were in Iceland we were informed of the relationship between the Eider ducks and the down farmers. Seems the farmers only collect down from the duck nests and that they provide some very welcoming conditions for the ducks. A very symbiotic arrangement for both duck and farmer.

Eider down is supposed to be the best insulating material in nature
