Once AGAIN the little lightweight non thinking karen krackhead from Barry's Bay submits MY thoughts as she is incapable of coming up with her own. What a shame.

You do flatter me karen but you do your best to emulate my thoughts because the emptiness of your brain pan shines through due to nothing inside. We are all sorry you have nothing to work with up there. Yes a brain is a terrible thing to waste but of course you have to have one first.

That's because your wacko thoughts and insults fit you better than they do anyone else.

He ‘emulates’ nothing. The things he writes are just the echoes bouncing around in the empty dumpster of his mind.

Well of course there's THAT.

I like the words, empty dumpster. little krackhead and his comments remind of Humpty Dumpster.

[quote=Wyantry]It appears you forgot to add the MILLION behind the “1.5”.

Yes, I forgot to put in the word"million" which should be obvious from my other posts on the subject.

WOW, why would anybody cross the border to live in such a dangerous country?

An analysis:

America:

Population ~336,000,000.
Annual Defensive gun usage instances ~1,500,000 (range = ~600,000 to ~2,500,000)
Percentage ~0.0045 (0.45%)

Canada:
Population ~38,980,000
Annual Defensive gun usage(*) instances ~70,000 (range = ~60,000 to 80,000 (**))
Percentage ~0.0018 (0.18%)

Total variance (0.0045 - 0.0018) = 0.0027
Converting to percent: 0.0018 / 0.0045 X 100 = 40%

So Canada varies from the U.S. by 40 percent in defensive gun use.

Evidently not so safe as might be wished by liberal socialist types.

Not surprising considering the historical make up and history of non-gun culture in English and French countries with a more “Eurocentric” culture and anti-weapon history.

(*) There is some difference in the tally, as the Canadian totals also include “wild or dangerous animal” attacks.

(**) Canadians report using firearms to protect themselves between 60,000 and 80,000 times per year from dangerous people or animals.
