Imagine this realistic scenario. NASA gets its samples of Martian soil back on earth, and they start examining it for signs of life. They are able to reanimate a microbe. What could go wrong, right?
In this film, the experiments are wisely conducted on the space station to keep anything harmful far from earth. As I said, it's intense.
"Life" on Prime (now with 30-second commercials).
We watched it last night (for the 3rd time). Good movie.
I HATE those ***** commercials! I won't watch a movie with them, no matter how much I like it! Doesn't seem to have stunted my growth, either!

I just looked into it. I have the very basic Prime subscription and the movie is only available to buy or rent for me. If I rent it ($3.99) I would presume there are no commercials.
Or, pay extra and get it commercial free.

Shades of "The Andromeda Strain"!
And weren't the corpses in "Night of the Living Dead" reanimated by an X-T effect?

Gonna have to try that! Thanks!

I find it annoying that I have to pay for Prime, and I have to buy or rent a movie, or I have to watch frequent commercials. I can't recall the last time I watched an ad-free movie on Prime. I'm certainly not going to pay more to avoid them. Of course, Amazon can do whatever it wants. For me, the main benefit of Prime is the free shipping.

I tried watching something the other day and the ads were three to four minutes apart.
To heck with it, there is more to life than being scammed, used and abused by serial greednicks.
Right, and that's the trend. Longer commercials and more of them.

That only works if people watch them---but consumers in the US will probably continue to be used and abused. Would be great if viewers would wake up and find other sources of amusement and eventually the Amazonians and other streamers would get the message.
