Hey, don’t blame me that You can’t figure out what was actually trying to be said. It’s not my fault you lefties can’t figure things out. But once again, everybody knows that the economy was in better shape under Trump pre-pandemic than it ever has been under Joe Biden

I was talking about the Great Progressive movement by the Democratic party.

I like that humans are able to get medical care. It's better for the nation too. ACA and Medicaid expansion are responsible. Red states are coming onboard--that's not the democrats doing it, but republicans seeing its merit.

Or, are you talking about the child credits?

So, return him to power. (the guy that, only a year ago, you said was a washed-up aberration that you never liked anyway ... and that Hamburger Ron was 'the smart Trump'.)

LOL.... Keep supporting Babbling Biden, clearly the worst president of your lifetime. I have been clear that I did not want to see Trump back in the White House for reasons different than yours but I have also been clear that I would vote for him in the general election.

Trump Encourages Putin to Attack NATO Members
https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2024/02/trump-rally-nato/677426/
At a rally on Saturday, the former president announced he would tell the Russians “to do whatever the hell they want” to states delinquent in their bills.

Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States and the presumptive Republican nominee, said earlier today that he would side with Russia against NATO and encourage Russian President Vladimir Putin to brutalize our allies. Not so long ago, many Americans—and especially most Republicans—would have considered anyone supporting such a view to be little more than a deranged and hateful anti-American fanatic.
You're not so squeamish when it comes to supportin... (show quote)

I think he's lighting a fire under those countries that fail to meet their obligations. It's rhetoric. If it's getting attention here, think of the attention it's getting in Europe. Think they might pay up? They're reliance on us has always been a pet peeve of his. He's asking the question, "if they don't take the defense of their own countries seriously, why should I?"

I must apologize for my own rhetoric towards you. Not very Christian, was it? Sometimes I get carried away and I shouldn't.

Don't worry about it. I'm usually trying to get my team of recalcitrant bullocks to slow down.

What are the arrears of these Euro-deadbeats? It's different than just "... pay your bills!" as Biggie tells it.

I don't quite understand the question. The concept was that each participating nation was to budget 2% of their GNP for defense. The U.S. spends 3.5% on defense. Where they are falling short, we're pickking up the slack. That's what bothers Trump.

No, he didn't. He just told NATO countries that they need to pay what they have agreed to pay or we will not help them. If they don't pay up, that's on them, not on Trump. That's what any president should do is make sure that we are not paying more than our share to defend other countries.

Yes but Trump went way overboard with what he said about Russia and the NATO members that are delinquent.

I don't think so. If they are delinquent we should not support them and the way Trump went about it will show them that he is serious and will consequently make sure that they pay. They paid when he was president before, and they aren't paying again. I'm sick of the U.S. paying to defend other countries that chose not to pay for their own defense.

So, you don't think that the NATO countries should pay their fair share? Why should we owe any allegiance to countries that shirk their responsibilities?
