Oenothera fruticosa is rare in Missouri, but there are a bunch of similar species found there: Missouri evening primrose, also called Ozark sundrops
O. macrocarpa; Prairie sundrops
O. pilosella; Showy evening primrose
O. grandis; Cutleaf evening primrose
O. laciniata; Threadleaf evening primrose
O. linifolia. Get some photos!
