I'm being pulled toward getting the Luminar Landscape Kit. Most of what I shoot is landscape, and this is temporarily on sale for $25. I've resisted most of their other offers, but for the price, I think this would be useful - and it's a one-time payment. I have a little over two and a half days to decide. I'm using Luminar exclusively, now.

resistance is not futile: it is voltage divided by current
r=v/i

Hey, airman!!! I was "permanent party" at Keesler* from 1966-1970.... Yup, joined the Air Force to see the world and spent all four years in Biloxi, Miss. Of course, it was just 94 miles from the main gate to corner of Canal and Bourbon....

*Keesler AFB, Technical Training Center of the United States Air Force. Was assigned to base PIO, which produced the Keesler News, the second-largest newspaper in Air Force (only Seventh AF was bigger).

I didn't stay there, or in the states, long... between BED and Electronic Warfare school it was about a year... then off the MacDill but was there only weeks till I was off to Vietnam... luxury vacation on the taxpayers $. I did have a tent though... many Army and Marines slept "under the stars"... which I only did a few nights.

Took MBA classes at Keesler in the late 70's (U of Southern Mississippi) The hurricane hunter airforce planes flew out of there at the time. The area is completely different now, as a later hurricane wiped the area out. Now has big casinos.

Speaking of hurricanes, I was there for hurricane Camille, August 1969. The storm surge was 15-20 feet up the lighthouse and was in the buildings on the north side of highway 90.
