creating photo book

I am thinking that I am going to create a photo book from what I consider to be my best work from the last couple of years. What I want opinions on is where to get it printed. I have looked at shutterfly but I am not thrilled with the work that they have done for me in the past. The company that I usually let print my photos does not do books. So I am here looking for suggestions.

Thanks in advance for your advice

I've had good results from Mixbook (www.mixbook.com)

I've done all my books with Blurb. It's a quality book and even better for me as has an interface from LrC. I wasn't thrilled with the interface to Blurb without LrC. Create a collection move your photos in the order you would like them to appear and call the Book module, yada, yada. There are youtube videos to help.

I love Shutterfly. I went for the deluxe lay flat pages. You have to wait for a sale or it is very expensive. This was just over $200, but when you spend many thousands on the trip I want a nice book of the trip!
I would share the link to the book, but for some dumb reason Shutterfly puts you into my account and you or anyone could edit, but or even delete it! Not that I don’t trust people, but I could see someone accidently deleting it and I would be very sad!!!
Beth
The pages are super thick and the color is great!

I have also used this method and was pleased with the work Blurb did along with their speed. I ordered when a sale was in place. Best of luck.

I used MixBook to make a wedding album which came out beautifully. High quality materials. What convinced me was the ease of use with their page templates and ability to easily customize the pages.

I used Blurb, only because they offer colour management and that's important if your looking for a good monitor to printing match.

I just did a book using blurb. You use it right from Lightroom and don’t need to convert from raw to build your book. Blurb offers lots o f page layouts, quality paper, many cover choices. I am very satisfied and working on my next book. I highly recommend it.
