Trump is not the president, last time I looked it was President Bidon.

That's what you get for living in the Great White North. Your brain is frozen.

In the United States it is customary to refer to a person by the highest title which that person has attained, generally in public service. All former Presidents of the United States are accorded this honor, as are Vice-Presidents. If a person has been a governor of a particular state, that person is generally identified as Governor John Smith, even if Smith were no longer governor. The same goes for representatives, senators, mayors, etc., although many don't personally use the title. The same goes for retired military - Retired military are generally referred to by their highest attained rank: John Smith, Lt. General, United States Marine Corps,Retired; Jane Doe, Command Sergeant Major, U.S. Army, Retired.

There, now you're no longer uneducated in American customs and honors.

So, you are taking my statement literally, how about an 8-1 or a 9-0 decision, you may not consider it a bitch slap but it sure will send a message to the Colorado Supreme Court as well as to the rest of the nation.

Will you call it a bitch slap when SCOTUS upholds appellate court decision that trump doesn't have immunity?

5-4 not so much 8-1 or 9-0? Yeah sure.

Also not as straight forward a case, I am sure that fewer words will be used to explain the decision in the Colorado case and I am most certain that the descent should there be one in Colorado will also be much briefer than in the immunity case. The immunity case for me raises an interesting question one that I myself have no answer for other than Denny's take on that case is much too shallow in my opinion. The case raises a deeper question about the freedom of a president to act without fear of repercussions upon leaving office. In my opinion and the opinion of millions of your fellow citizens we are seeing political law fare being waged currently in this country and the question Trump raises is an important one.

The fact that they have to hear this insane case is very unpatriotic and lacks democratic rules of decorum.

Who is talking immunity? Aren’t we talking about SCOTUS deciding if States can take Trump off the ballot because of insurrection, THEY SAY?

Just what criminal conviction are you speaking of, Trump has not been charged with insurrection and many of the other charges he faces do not rise to the levels at which the constitution would prohibit him from running.

Trump isn't worried about the level of the charges brought against him. He is not running so you have a better life. He is running so if he wins he can either have the DOJ cancel the charges or give himself a pardon. If he wins our Democracy will be over.

I suggest the Trump problem would not be as serious as you think it is if the Democrats had a candidate not suffering from the onset of Dementia.

The smart voters will not vote for a candidate obviously suffering from mental decay.

Are you saying that Trump does not suffer from mental decay?
One can debate Biden, but let's face it, Trump is a shining example of nutjob.

What a dumb idiotic comment that is. It definitely shows the inane fear you have of the other side of our political party system.

Aren't these State charges and not federal charges? As such DOJ has nothing to do with them. You should know by now from civics classes and/or just plain common sense, someone will explain that term to you, State and Federal charges are separate. Different laws, courts and so on. Look it up.

We should be just fine. The true maroons live in Barry's Bay, Canada. I think it is a population of 1.

Yes I am saying Trump does not suffer from mental decay. At least not to a dangerous level as is POS Biden. Biden has not had a sane moment since before he took office. There is a reason he sat out the election season in the basement of his home. He was already a mumbling bumbling dumb ass even then. Yet you and millions of others in your cult of insanity voted for him ANYWAY.

Does Trump mess up on some words? Of course he does. So do you, me and millions of others. But Trump has never had to be led offstage because he had no idea where the hell he was, never confused his wife with Kamala Harris, never wandered about with his hand hoping someone/anyone might shake it to make him feel like a real President. There are probably hundreds of examples of Biden's Dementia affected mind but I won't bother. You have seen them as has everyone on the planet. Trump may get there someday. We all will. But Trump is nowhere close now. Biden is far past his line and he was on the day he took office.
