This little chap obviously may have enjoyed looking through the the Canon Manual for this 100-400mm first.
Noticed that this camera was actually still turned on? It has info showing on the top display panel...
Since it is an Ultra-Sonic Image Stabilized lens I'm wondering if it may have been emitting a high pitch humming sound like so many Image Stabilized optics...

That might explain this chip's fixation on this "Great White Shark" that ventured into his/her turf...
The poor fellow will lose a little sleep over this...
Albeit "Monkey See? Monkey Do... rings load and clear in this scenario...

Thank you so much for sharing Photolady...
Good to see the "other side" of our craft from a Monkey's perspective.

Thanks, the little guy kept looking around like is someone going to come and take my new find away! Or he couldn’t believe all his other monkey buddies were not interested!!!

Those little paws are quite soft and the rig is likely too heavy for him/her to drag it away. Very cool series by two very cool actual photographers.

Ha, thanks, he was entertaining until Gisele decided she wanted her camera back!

Hope this makes you smile!

This was the camera of a lady on the trip who just laid it down and was using a different camera and did not realize the monkey found it quite interesting! We convinced Gisele to let us take a couple photos before she chased the monkey off! If he had been a bit bigger he would have run off with it!

Too cute !!
