Malwarebytes

I like the free version of Malwarebytes, and I run it occasionally. They are trying to get me to sign up for the paid version. Every now and then, they do a scan with the paid version to show me what the free version is missing. I just looked at the report from a couple of minutes ago. It detected ZERO threats in multiple categories. Ummm, I wonder if I should pay $10/mo (or whatever) to continue that level of detection. 🤣

That's what they're counting on.

I’ve been using the paid version for years. I just install it and let it do its thing.

After using it, all the tabs at the top of my screen are blanked out.

As I click on each one, the little picture appears.

Did you, possibly, change the window size to maximum? F11 or Fn->F11

No, but MWB deleted a lot of things, and those icons went with them. Clicking on the brought them back.

Yes. The "empty" tabs were all there, but the code needed to add the graphics had been deleted. As I clicked on/opened each one, the graphic appeared - Gmail, Calendar, UHH, etc.

I clean my PC with vacuum cleaner, compressed air, Windex. Not with software.
