Another great find Tom. Very nicely shot and great color. Are the remains of the siding asphalt shingles? They really set off the dinginess of the building

I truly enjoy photographing old buildings, barns, farm implements, and similar subjects. And I sometimes am quite surprised at the remoteness of some of these subjects. Why were they built where they were built? Who decided it was a good idea to put them there? What function did they serve? Ah, the old adage – if only they could talk...

I believe they are asphalt shingles. They do add contrast.
