Tea and the prescription diuretics I take for my heart make me pee uncontrollably, though not completely!

I am not real convinced by a study that uses a mechanical model of a biological system.

I sure wish my girl would take longer than 21 seconds, and start and stop because she now pees in the house too often!

They used real, live animals.

I bet most of you obey "The Law of Urination," with an average time of twenty-one seconds.

I don't know how I have lived 80 years without knowing this! I wouldn't call this a universal law because it doesn't apply to old men. Some of the other articles were pretty good so the group didn't waste all of their time. This study must have been funded by the government.

Three years ago I went from minutes to seconds and getting up 3-5 times a night to 0-1 times a night. Had a hoLEP procedure done on my prostate. Procedure took a couple of hours and I went home the same day. The next day I went for a three mile walk and felt fine.
It had the added benefit of getting rid of my slow growing prostate cancer. My PSA score went from 10.5 to .5. That procedure literally changed my life.

Lol I used to be able to stand 6 feet away from a urinal and shoot the wings off a fly......now I stand 6 inches away so I don't pee on my fly!!

Perhaps a case of TMI but I take longer...now. The bladder is a muscle that weakens with age so I have less pressure and distance than in my youth. I'm not even sure if I could write my name on the side of a building any more!

Now that's a pisser, is'nt it? [8^)

Medical question:

When drinking liquids, does the liquid go through the intestines (small & large) before going to the kidney & bladder in preparation for being pee-d out? Or does the liquid first go somehow into the blood stream, and then go into the kidney/bladder?

I'm sorry, but obviously, old men aren't included in the universal group. 😥

I remember as kids working at the local baseball stadium for night games. A few would let fly while walking down the middle of the dirt road and see how far they could go while walking. Never tried, because it was never a goal of mine.

Now while skiing, I do remember trying to write my name and not succeeding, surprising because it's only 4 letters. .Once I remembered the snow is our drinking water later in the year, it wasn't to happen again. Lol . . .

As they say, "Don't drink yellow snow."

It's very nearly my largest organ now. I probably spend several minutes a day staring down at the big, white porcelain bowl.

Try ‘Sitzpissn’. Sitting down to urinate. Then try gently rocking from side to side. Say 10 to 12 complete rocks.
