I bet most of you obey "The Law of Urination," with an average time of twenty-one seconds.

"What do you do for a living, daddy?"

Perhaps a case of TMI but I take longer...now. The bladder is a muscle that weakens with age so I have less pressure and distance than in my youth. I'm not even sure if I could write my name on the side of a building any more!

I was going to add that there is an exception to that law for older men. The prostate tends to enlarge.

It's very nearly my largest organ now. I probably spend several minutes a day staring down at the big, white porcelain bowl.

It's just hard to believe that someone watches an elephant for hours, watching and waiting for the flow, then grabs a stopwatch, and actually gets paid to do it. What a job.

I guess out of work statisticians need something to do. But I agree with you. Humankind has gotten along just fine for hundreds of thousands of years without this particular "steady stream" of information.

So you're saying that you are a law breaker?

Only in a run down New York City parking garage in the ‘70’s at about 2:30 AM after a Dead or Allmans concert at the Academy of Music.

Very interesting! Of course now my wife wants to know why I'm taking my stopwatch into the bathroom.

Hey we’re interested too; let us know how you do. Not fair if you try to impress us by drinking 3 or 4 beers before you hit the bathroom and run the timed test.

Watching in high speed video. Whether it's an elephant or a mouse, it still averages out the same - twenty-one seconds.

When I write in the snow I make a mess because I stutter.

If you're having problems, go get your prostate checked. I know a guy...
