Same here, two 23” flats with about 150° between… And for me, it’s “the best way to go.”

YUP! Definitely!
For my genealogy work, the tree program on one monitor, the internet on the other. Works out great without flipping windows on one monitor! Just cut and paste information.
For editing photos, the editor on one monitor, Explorer on the other.
SO nice!

Vertical Monitors WERE a style back in the Word Processor era. One I remember could be rotated in a large base.

I bought a curved screen TV around 9 years ago. I liked it, but when I recently updated they had disappeared from the market. Apparently they were not popular, so the manufacturers stopped producing them.
Have only had flat monitors.

Thanks everyone for the information. I currently have a 27 inch flat screen. the only reason I inquired is because I have a medical which requires me to keep my legs extended thus, using my recliner for a chair puts me further from the screen. I thought a larger monitor would help but so far, in my budget range, the 34" screens seem to be curved.

The curved monitors were designed for Gaming, and I think they work pretty well for that.
For photography and or Video production requirements are different, I haven't seen a true graphics display designed withe a curve. For Photo editing I greatly prefer Two displays, one for palettes & controls and multi view thumbnails and one All image. I find turning my head a bit much more comfortable and easier to concentrate on what I am doing. I like identical displays.
I Print my photographs, I am matching a flat print to a flat display.
None of this means that someone won't make a curved IPs wide gamut display for graphics and it that appeals to you go for it, but be sure color accuracy and gamut and uniformity are as good as flat displays.
OR Get Apple's augmented reality headset and edit in bed......

I bought a curved Samsung 46" wide monitor after seeing it in my accountant's office. It has all the bells and whistles but since I use it primarily for photography and not gaming, I find that I really don't need all that real estate. Prior to buying the present monitor I used two 30" monitors side by side and parked my photoshop tools and miscellaneous items on the right and kept the left side exclusively for the image. It worked well. I have since bought a 32" Wacom Cintiq and I use in in in conjunction with my laptop which is fine for what I do. I am now thinking about selling the curved one.

I replaced my old flat screen monitor for a larger curved one because it is a little bigger, 32 inches and it was on sale at Costco for an unbelievable price and I love it. My youngest also got one and he loves his, too.

I don't particularly like the curved screens - agree about the gaming. I have a long flat one that's 4k and I use it kinda like the 2 23" monitors set up, except it's flat, but the resolution is great. I think it's an LG. It's hard sometimes to match colors on two monitors.

Right now I have two desktops that I built. I have a flat monitor on the computer for general use. I have a 27" curved monitor on my newer computer that I built mainly for my aviation simulator. I like both of them. They are both Asus monitors. When I am in the air flying the curved one makes the scenery look much better. It is the same thing, go with the one that you prefer.

No need to get our photographic shorts in a twist…the curved screens are not designed for photography, but for gamers, which they are designed for, they add a lot.

I don't have one, but I have been considering it. I have a 25" Dell Ultra Sharp, and I think the viewing angle on the edges is getting to be a bit marginal vs. the center.
It's not terrible or anything, but I'm wondering if my next (larger) display would look better curved.
It could also be just an old man's eyes needing a little help, who knows. =)
