Europe 2022 Trips - Photo Preview 27 - Switzerland: Potpourri and Lake Lucerne Finale
Another absolutely fantastic set Joe, from the lush, green mountain pass views, to the mountain views over Lake Lucerne, and the gorgeous fiery red images at dawn over Mount Grosser Mythen... just beautiful.

Thanks Vince, for your participation in tagging along on this mini-tour, it has been a pleasure talking with you (mostly late at night over on your side of the continent!). I am signing off now, probably will not be around on UHH for quite a while, though I will try to look in as I am traveling. Thanks again - and good bye for the time being!

Beautiful. Just as I remember it from when I was there.
Thank you very much Ken, I am glad to hear that my images could live up to your memories. I will be off for a while, so take care and good bye!
Nice scenics, Joe. The last two are excellent.
I really don't want this pictorial tour to end. I am so enjoying the beauty of the regions you visited. Those dawn shots are spectacular! Guess that's how it is when you have no pollution.

Thank you John for your nice comment again and for commenting particularly on these last two shots. By perfect luck I woke up at 6 am, saw this sunrise developing through the hotel room window, grabbed my camera and jumped out to the terrace in front of our room and just managed to shoot these scenes in time before they turned too bright. Thanks also for being with me throughout the entire series and providing your always positive comments. - I much appreciated these. I will be off UHH (or almost) for quite a while, so take care and Farewell - Joe

Thank you Kathy for your nice words again as this series is ending. I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed these images from the quite substantially varied areas we covered in this series. There are so many beautiful corners all over this spectacular planet. I particularly also liked your comment on the dawn shots I used for the conclusion of this series. I am not normally an early riser, and I guess I miss part of this world's most beautiful moments while still hugging my pillow - but here I just got up in time at 06:00 am and I am sure glad for it. I will be off for quite a while, visiting your other favorite continent and hope to return with some interesting images. Take care and - for the moment - Farewell. Joe

Thank you Doug for your kind words and for being along on the tour and your appreciative comments - it sure is a beautiful world out there and I will be soon off again to explore a few to this date unknown corners and am all excited about it. Take care - Farewell - Joe
Particularly like the last three images, Joe (not that I dislike the others)! I wish you another safe and rewarding adventure.
Fantastic set as always Joe. Love the sunrise shots. I'll miss your beautiful landscapes.

.
Thank you John, glad to hear that you particularly enjoyed the last 3 pictures, which I also enjoy immensely. I just looked at these pictures again: It is interesting to note #8 was taken on May 2 at 6:03:17, while #9 was taken on May 3 at 6:07:40 and #10 same day at 6:09:42. #8 is quite a bit more pale than #s 9&10, which somewhat surprises me, as #8 was closer to its sunrise hour than #9 & 10 - I guess this has to do with the partial cloud cover in the latter 2 images.
Thanks for your good wishes - I am looking forward to my new trip with much anticipation - and will be off UHH for a while so, for the moment: Take care and Farewell. Joe
