It doesn't appear that there was much credibility to her accusation if she couldn't stick around and follow through on the accusation to file charges.

If trump and his legal team hadn't blown the deadlines for filings or submitting evidence, there could have been evidence submitted which might or might not have proven trump's claim.

But since they're the ones who blew those deadlines, they only have themselves to blame for the lack of physical and scientific evidence in the first case which went to trial.
