Nord VPN
I use VPN Unlimited, and have for 5 years now, having purchased a lifetime membership at a very attractive price. They are very customer centric and have servers all over the world. I recommend them highly to anyone here.
I've used them for 6 or 7 years, and am completely satisfied with them. I have NordVPN on my iMac, iPhone, MacBook Pro and iPads...
I've heard great things about NORD and their product was at the top 3 on my list when I did research a few years back. I went with Windscribe because they, like NORD, don't keep logs but had a better deal at the time. I have a lifetime membership and it has served me well.
Used NORD for several years. Was always pleased with service. Recently had a price increase and prob with one of my computers so switched to Proton VPN.
Good luck,
D
I've used Nord seamlessly for several years and have had no problems.
I have been using Nord VPN now for just under 3 years and I have not experienced any problems with their service. They have servers throughout the world and the speed is excellent. There are now so many VPN options available now it is difficult to determine which one is best but in my opinion, Nord is one of the best.
Try Private Internet Access (PIA). It's rated highly it works well and it's low cost price you can't beat.
I've been using NordVPN for several years without any problems.
I was in IT for 40 years and I have been using NordVPN for several years and I have never had any issues.Their servers are fast. I use the double VPN option which makes the connection more difficult to trace back. My older router has it installed on the router. I am am now on a mesh network but use the software on my computers and phones. I have tested others through the years but I haven't found anything better.
Why? I have been doing business with them for over 10 years and I have not has any problems
Have been with NordVPN for several years, no problems. Tried Norton last year to combine all my protection services, horrible experience, made my system crash frequently, so I went back to Webroot+NordVPN.
I've considered a VPN, but I doubt it would be of value to me. VPNs sponsor lots of YouTubers, but there are also YouTubers telling you to avoid them for various reasons.
I didn't realize that there are VPN blocks - probably similar to adblocker detection.

If you have a computer that isn't connected to a secured corporate network inside their building or on a secured tunnel, you need a VPN. I like Nord because it can create multiple types with the click of the mouse. I use a double VPN or obfuscation VPN which gives more security. While all of your data os probably on the dark web, this prevents most hackers from getting in and taking over your machine for nefarious reasons. At one point a few years ago, I had a router with NordVPN loaded on it so only needed the router when machines were behind the firewall.

I used to get MANY emails related to searches I would do online. Not anymore. I have been using DuckDuckGo.
Very private and it's free.
https://duckduckgo.com/Another is TOR. stands for The Onion Ring. It connects to thousands of computers all over the world and you can choose which country you want to be located in.

Those are browsers and DuckDuckGo was busted a few months ago for allowing Microsoft to get search information. The other way is for sites like porn sites, they have all been hacked and those can be hacked back to the originating router. Nothing is untraceable with the right tools.
