Many people feel they need the last word ... you don't.

Nobody should be editing your photos without permission. If it is a problem, message "Admin"

It appears to me that the problem was unfortunate placement of square brackets in the response, which looks like it was all intended to be in the quote. There are other comments. Breaking the quote into sections would have resolved that issue.

If you are really adamant about people not trying to illustrate a point using your images, I believe you should place that restriction in your signature. I see it in other signatures and to me it stands out. I am always tempted to point something out using the original image, but were that restriction in your signature I would not do so. I recognize that the rules say you should get permission to use another's image, but it is done frequently enough that posters ignore that rule unless it is reinforced. Not that it's right, but it is what it is.
It appears to me that the problem was unfortunate ... (show quote)

Thanks. Im getting a reminder about a good method I used to use but then somehow got away from it. Back then if I wanted to show for instance a WB fix up, I would crop into the image and only demonstrate on just a part of the image. That way the WB effect is visible but the whole image is not presented as an improved version.

Below is a "clinical sample" that could be "healed" without actually altering the original photo that had been posted.

Rules or no rules, a mature thinking adult should always ask permission before altering anyone else's photo. Just common courtesy.

Indeed. Have revisited the original image posted to this thread from my system [not a copy from another system sent online]. Looks good on my 16, 24 and 27 inch Macintosh displays. Just like for some musicians it all about the bass - in digital imaging its all about the color calibration.

[quote=dhelix33]My Hasselblad X2D 100C combines features seen in both [my former] X1DII 50C, and the 907X bodies There were interest points for me upgrading to this camera body [still using the 'old' 21mm F4, 45P F4 and 65mm F2.8 glass w/ the X2D].

First, I usually carry my 21mm and 45mm lenses to a location [the 65mm stays home for studio work]. The 100MP sensor X2D lets me crop tighter on images without significant resolution reduction.

Second, We shoot events where I use the tilting screen to shoot 'on-the-fly' so to speak while covering the space.

Third, I am impressed with the color science paired with 15 stops of dynamic range where I can to capture true-to-life highlights and shadows with natural transitions using my X2D 100C. IBIS - shooting handheld at longer shutter speeds [up to 1.0 second for me is a nice to have.

Fourth, I am also liking the upgrade from a Contrast Detection sensor in the X1D II to an exceptional 294 Phase Detection autofocus over the 100-megapixel sensor in the X2D - that now gives me swift and accurate focusing.

[Icing on the cake is the 1TB SSD installed in my X2D]

So, my Hasselblad X2D 100C Medium Format is capable of exceptional handheld image clarity - a level of hand held image clarity I have never experienced with a digital camera.The Hasselblad 5-axis image stabilization system in the X2D provides up to seven stops of complete shake reduction. I have seen a fellow X2D user shoot handheld at up to 1.5 seconds without blur.

I like doing stuff like this;

Have attached a series of hand held images to visually describe how I process a single Hasselblad 200MB RAW image that is hand held for 1.0 second [which after my process - is reduced to a 5-8MB JPG image for share online. I am also sharing how I use Adobe LRC with AI Denoise - which has proven to be an excellent automated image enhancement. The computer system stacks images to enhance clarity, resolution and color depth. Works exceptionally well with RAW images produced with our Hasselblad X2D, Sony a9 and Sony a7III.

The posted image was shot with;
Hasselblad X2D 100C camera
Hasselblad 45P lens
Aperture: f/8
ISO 3200

Want to try a sample landscape at ISO 64, f/22 and however long it takes to expose on a tripod - should weather permit tonight.[/quote]

Rather puzzling that such exceeeeeeedingly detailed gear description is "supported" by such haphazard imagery in visually offensive "sick green" when the fix for that is absurdly quick and painless. Attached below is a color swatch from the originally posted image and an example of quickly improved color.
