Beauties in South Bend, IN π©΅π₯π©΅(Taken in 2009)
Beautiful museum, horrible lighting on their lower level where all the cars were
Angles
Cars extremely close. Placards and parts of decorations jutting into every shot
Many cars on elevators/risers above other cars.
Beautiful cars, joe. I was sorry to see Studebaker Phil after World War II and Korea.
Nice shots. My uncle was an engineer there until it folded. He then moved to Phoenix and designed airplane parts.
Fantastic work in all four sets.
I was there several years ago. Lot of cool cars but your criticism is spot on.
Not surprising to me though. When you look at the rest of the town, itβs quite obvious that what was once a vibrant and productive industrial city is now a mostly cleaned up shell of its former self. I suspect that before the big clean up, it looked like the war torn cities we see on the news.
Beautifully photographed, Joe.
Many moons ago, I bought a 1949 Studebaker pickup truck for $75. The body was in excellent shape other than some faded and worn paint. The Better Half and I painted it flat-black with a few cans of paint and brushes.

I only saw the 1960s models when I was a kid. I had no idea they had produced such elegant machines. It is a shame
