You have been posting at a rapid rate, Joe! And what an exceptional ending this is. The night time shots and the beautiful old half-timbered buildings are such a delight to see. I’ve seen very little of France. Your series posted here sure does make me want to go to Europe again.

Yes, I have to use an accelerated "production" for this series, as while I am posting, not much else can happen in my day, and I have to get ready for the next trip. Beside Switzerland of course, France is our most favorite place in Europe, we just love the ambience, the food, the language - brief: everything French and there is practically no year, whatever the main objective is, that we do not spend at least a few days in France, often for weeks in Paris but also in all different directions as well.

You have been playing a very rapid catch-up, I had a hard time keeping up with you! and thank you for all the input you have provided, I always appreciate that. I noticed that you didn't make a comment on the Dolomites (set 10) - not that I expect to get a comment for each post from you, but I just wanted to make sure you did not by chance miss that part, it was one of our favorite spots in this trip of favorites - and we realized quickly that we didn't have enough time and want to go back again, possibly even this or next year!

Thanks Mike - and yes, these light bulbs and the mood they created together with the other hanging leaf skeletons made for an interesting composition.

These images are truly wonderful. Lighting, tone, density, all work together for really excellent images. The subject
matters are really nice. Those wonderful old buildings. They appear to be well kept and sturdy yet.

Great series, Joe. All excellent images - I was really taken with the cathedral. Incredible structure. I also, loved the hanging lights. Looks like you had great weather for shooting and having a lovely lunch at an outdoor cafe. I'm envious!!!!
