Very nice, especially the houses with the flowers.
Thank you rde, glad you liked these images, Switzerland has plenty of these flower-bedecked houses in the summer, particularly out in the countryside and mountains - it sure enhances the images!

I have been enjoying your great travel photos for the past year and just out of curiosity what are you shooting with.
Thank you Tom for looking in on this series, as well as visiting my previous tours. I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed these and the previous images.
In 2023 I was shooting with my new Nikon Z7II and the only lens I own, a Nikkor 24-120 zoom lens. For more information on my (very limited) gear and previous cameras I used, please go to the Introductory Set 1, where I provided the respective information - you can access that Introductory Set with the link I provide on each post. Thanks for looking in again.
Love the stone house photo, very nice series.

Thank you md, glad to hear that you enjoyed these images, particularly of the stone houses, these buildings are a real joy to look at!
Very nice set Joe. I really like the mountain and landscape shots, especially #9, the Italy/Stelvio Pass. That is some series of switchbacks going up that mountain... pretty cool!

Thanks Vince - glad you like these landscape shots, Susan and my favorite are #3 of that little creek just starting out up there and the next panorama shot #4. - That series of switchbacks to go up to the top of the Stelvio Pass is quite something - especially when you consider that we had already driven (or the bicycles had climbed) 36 more of these below! I remembered that pass from the first time we drove it sometime in the Eighties and I absolutely wanted to see and drive this pass once more.
These are beautiful, Joe. I love seeing the tippy tops of the mountains. That road would be a hoot to drive!

Thank you very much Kathy for your kind comment. I have to admit, I was and am always very happy when I am in the mountains. And that road really was a hoot to drive - you just had to be extra careful because there were so many bicycles on that day.

Thanks for the response.. I hesitated to even ask that question. I have been shooting photos for over 60 yrs. and belong to several camera clubs. Been the president of one of them now for 20yrs. I get asked this question quite often myself and my response to them is that the camera is just a tool and the person using it makes the photo. At any rate you have a great combination there and keep up the good work.
Love the houses in #5 and #8. And the switchbacks in #9–wow! I can’t imagine bicycling that route. I bet driving is a bit difficult too watching for bicycles and motorbikes. But the scenery is so worth the drive.

You are very welcome, Tom, I always invite questions - it makes this posting so much more interactive and interesting. Thanks for your nice words again, and I hope you will continue to like the "show".

The decorations on these houses makes this area so unique. Yes, the mountain scenery itself is definitely worth the trip, but we have mountains in many parts of Switzerland, but houses decorated in this style practically only in the canton Grison. And that drive wasn't really difficult, you just had to watch out and I personally really enjoy driving these switchbacks - Susan not so much, nor the parts when she is inches away from the sheer drop on her side of the car!
